Let us thank God heartily as often as we pray that we have His Spirit in us to teach us to pray. Thanksgiving will draw our hearts out to God and keep us engaged with Him; it will take our attention from ourselves and give the Spirit room in our hearts.

Holiday Ham with Pineapple

INGREDIENTS

1 Whole bone-in fully cooked ham(12-14 lbs);spiral cut or thinly sliced
2 cn (6 oz) pineapple juice
1 cn (20 oz) crushed pineapple; undrained
2 c Packed brown sugar
20 Whole cloves; (up to 30)
1/4 c Raisins

INSTRUCTIONS

Place ham in a roasting pan.Slowly pour pineapple juice over ham so it runs
between the slices.Spoon pineapple over ham.Sprinkle with brown sugar and
cloves.Add raisins to pan juices.Cover and refrigerate over night.Discard
cloves,Cover and bake ham at 325 for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs,basting every 20
minutes.
