Let Him therefore send and do what He will. By His grace, if we are His, we will face it, bow to it, accept it, and give thanks for it. God’s Providence is always executed in the ‘wisest manner’ possible. We are often unable to see and understand the reasons and causes for specific events in our lives, in the lives of others, or in the history of the world. But our lack of understanding does not prevent us from believing God.

Israeli Coffee Chicken

INGREDIENTS

1 lg Broiler fryer 4lbs; cut in 8 parts, breast and legs only
3/4 c Black coffee
1 tb Ketchup
3 tb Soy sauce
2 tb Lemon juice
2 tb White vinegar
1 tb Olive oil
2 tb Brown sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix liquids and sugar and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5-10
minutes to reduce. Pour over chicken in a shallow baking dish and bake at
350 uncovered for 1 hour. Turn chicken pieces a few times while baking.
