Jamaica Flower Water

INGREDIENTS

2 qt Water
3/4 c Dried Jamaica or hibiscus flowers
1/2 c Sugar or honey
Orange slices; for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

Bring the water to a boil. Add the flowers and return to a boil. Reduce to
a simmer and cook 10 minutes. Stir in the sugar or honey, strain into a
pitcher and refrigerate. Serve cold over ice with slices of orange as a
garnish. This recipe yields 1 1/2 quarts of flavored water.
Variation: Before serving, stir in 2 cups of orange juice.
