Katie’s Kentucky Chocolate Cake

INGREDIENTS

2 c Sugar
2 c Flour
1/2 c Butter or margarine
1 c Water
4 tb Cocoa
1/2 c Buttermilk
1 ts Baking sida
2 Eggs
1 ts Vanilla
1/2 c Butter
1/3 Cut milk
4 tb Cocoa
1 Box confectioners sugar
1 ts Vanilla
1 c Nuts; chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

CHOCOLATE FROSTING
Here's another one from "Bach's Lunch"
Combine sugar and flour in a bowl. Melt butter, shortening, water, and
cocoa and bring to a boil. Pour mixture over sugar and flour. Stir well.
Add remaining ingredients, and stir until smooth. Pour into two greased and
floured layer cake pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes. Cool
thoroughly before frosting. This rich, fudgy cake is not for weight
watchers.
Chocolate frosting: Melt butter, milk and cocoa and bring to a boil. Add
the remaining ingredients and stir well. Frost cake while frosting is still
warm.
