INGREDIENTS

1 c Margarine
1 1/2 ts Vanilla
1 ts Salt
1 c Sugar
2 c Sifted flour
1 pk (6-ounce) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 c Finely chopped walnuts.

INSTRUCTIONS

Here is a recipe from a booklet called The Holiday Hostess
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine margarine, vanilla and salt in bowl
and blend well. Gradually beat in sugar. Add flour, chocolate morsels and
3/4 cup walnuts; mix well. Press evenly into ungreased 15"x10"x1" pan.
Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup walnuts over top and press in lightly. Bake at
375 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool, then break into
irregular pieces. Makes about 1 3/4 lbs.
