If thankfulness does not move us to serve God, then we do not truly understand who our God is and what He has done in our behalf. Without gratitude for Christ’s sacrificial love, our duty will become nothing more than drudgery and our God nothing more than a dissatisfied boss.

Landlubber’s Salmon Patties

INGREDIENTS

1 Pink salmon; drained
1 Egg or 2 egg whites
1/2 c Cornflake cereal; crushed
1/4 c Onion; minced
2 tb Lemon juice
1 ts Oil

INSTRUCTIONS

Mash salmon with fork.  Add egg whites, crushed creal, onion and lemon
juice.  Mix throughly; form 4 patties.  Heat oil over medium heat in a
nonstick skillet.  Add patties and cook 6-8 munutes or until brown; turn
and cook 4-6 munutes or until brown. Serving size: 4-oz patty Calories: 220
Fat: 11 gm Cholesterol: 106 mg Sodium: 652 mg
