Grains Indian Chutney, Indian, Western ind 6 Servings

INGREDIENTS

5 Cloves garlic, 5-6 sliced
1 c Coconut shreds, unsweetened
1 T Cumin seed, whole
3 Red chiles, 3-4 dried
2 T Sesame seeds
2 T Tamarind pulp, seedless
1/4 c Peanuts, unsalted
1/2 t Salt, or to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Roast all of the above ingredients independently with the exception  of
the salt in a dry skillet until they turn reddish brown in color.
Grind them in a coffee mill and serve either dry as a condiment or
