Liberty Hall Marinated Beef Tenderloin

INGREDIENTS

1/2 c Ruby port
1/4 c Olive oil
1/4 c Soy sauce
1/2 ts Pepper
1/2 ts Thyme, crushed
1/4 ts Hot pepper sauce
1 Bay leaf
1 1/2 lb Boneless beef tenderloin, cut in 1/2" slices

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix first seven ingredients and pour over steaks. Cover and refrigerate 3
to 6 hours, turning occasionally.
Remove steaks from marinade. Place steaks on a broiler pan and place in
cold oven. Broil 3 inches from heat 7 minutes; turn and broil 7 minutes
more.
NOTES : I think I will make a sauce by reducing the marinade. Recipe by:
