Maple Walnut Squares

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 c Flour
1/4 c Brown sugar
1/2 c Butter
1 c Maple syrup
1/3 c Maple sugar
1/3 c Brown sugar
2 Eggs (beaten)
2 tb Flour
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 ts Vanilla
1 c Walnuts (chopped)

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine flour, 1/4 cup sugar and butter in bowl.  With fork, mix until
consistency of fine corn meal.  Press mix into greased 9 x 13" pan. Bake at
350° for 15 minutes. Combine sugars and syrup in small saucepan. Simmer 5
minutes. Pour over beaten eggs, stirring constantly. Stir in remaining
ingredients, except nuts. Pour mix over baked crust. Sprinkle with nuts and
bake at 350° for 20 - 25 minutes.  Cool in pan and cut in bars. Makes 24
