It will sustain the soul in the darkest and most dreary places of this world. It will hold in check the demons of despair, and stifle the power of discouragement and hopelessness. It is the brightest star that ever cast its radiance over the darkened soul, and one that seldom sets in the gloom of morbid fancies and forboding imaginations.

INGREDIENTS

3 c All-Purpose Flour
2/3 c Cocoa
1/2 ts Baking Soda
1 c Brown Sugar
1 c Granulated Sugar
1 c Soft Butter
2 Whole Eggs
2 ts Vanilla
2 c Chocolate Chips
8 oz Miniature Marshmallows; frozen
1 c Pecans; chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine dry ingredients except sugar and set aside. Mix sugar and butter,
blend well- add eggs and vanilla. Combine with flour mixture. Add chips and
nuts. Batter will be very stiff. Take 4 frozen marshmellows in hand-Take a
heaping tablespoon of dough, wrap dough completely around marshmellows.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased pan. Bake at 400 for 8-10 min.
