INGREDIENTS

2 T Olive oil
1/4 lb Ground pork
1/2 lb Ground beef
1/2 c Chopped onion
1 T Chopped garlic
3 c Chopped tomatoes
1 6-ounce can tomato paste
1 t Sugar
1 t Dried oregano
1 t Dried basil
Salt and pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat oil in a large pot, add meat and brown it, breaking it up with a
spoon until crumbly. Add onions and cook 5 minutes. Add garlic,
tomatoes and tomato paste, and cook 5 minutes. Add sugar and herbs,
and season to taste with salt and pepper. Cook 20 minutes.  Yield:
