INGREDIENTS

2 lb Stewing beef; cut into 1 inch pieces
1 Envelope onion soup mix
1 cn (10 3/4 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cn (4 ounce) whole mushrooms; drained
1/2 c Red wine

INSTRUCTIONS

I've been listening and getting some great recipes and thought I would
share one that I enjoy. This is from the Houston Chronicle
Combine beef, dry soup mix, condensed soup, mushrooms (with liquid) and
wine in a 2 quart casserole. Cover. Bake at 300 degrees 3 hours. Don't peek
until it's done. Serve over noodles or rice. Makes 4-6 servings.
