Oatmeal With Fruit And Nuts

INGREDIENTS

3 c Water
1/4 t Salt
Sm Apple, chopped
2 T Sliced Almonds
2 2/3 c Skim Milk
1/2 t Ground Cinnamon
1 1/3 c Regular Rolled oats
1/4 c Pitted whole Dates, snipped
1 T Brown Sugar
1 mg sodium, 315 mg potassium.

INSTRUCTIONS

In a medium saucepan combine water, cinnamon, and salt. Bring to
boiling; stir in oats. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let
stand, covered, till of desired consistency. Divide oatmeal among 4
serving bowls. Top each bowl with chopped apple, snipped dates,  sliced
almonds, and brown sugar. Divide milk among serving bowls.
