INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 Sticks unsalted butter
softened 3/4 cup
1 c Plus 2 tablespoons sugar
1 Egg
1 1/2 T Freshly grated lemon zest
6 T Finely ground almonds
1 1/2 c All-purpose flour

a preheated 350°F. oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until they are
golden around the edges, transfer them to racks, and let them cool.
