Old-fashioned Molasses Cookies

INGREDIENTS

3/4 c Oil
1/4 c Brer Rabbit Molasses, green
label
1 c Sugar
1 Egg
2 c Flour
2 t Baking Soda
1/2 t Ginger
1/2 t Cloves
1 t Cinnamon
1/2 t Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix oil, molasses, egg and sugar. Sift all dry ingredients into above
mixture. Blend thoroughly. Chill dough at least 1 hour. Roll into
balls (about 1 tsp.) and then roll each ball in granulated sugar.  Bake
on greased cookie sheets for about 10 minutes; do not overbake.  Use a
