Onion and Green Bean Salad

INGREDIENTS

2 Onions; sliced into rings
1 tb Sugar
2 pk (10-oz) frozen green beans
5 sl Bacon
1/3 c Oil
2 tb White vinegar
1/4 ts Salt
1 ds Cayenne pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Place onion rings in bowl; wprinkle with sugar. Cook beans as directed;
drain. Cool thoroughly; toss with onion rings. Chill at least 1 hour,
stirring occasionally. Fry bacon, crumble and reserve. At serving time,
combine oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Stir until mixed. Pour over
bean-onion mixture; add bacon. Toss gently. Makes 6 servings, 180 calories
each.
