Frugal02 4 Servings

INGREDIENTS

2 T Olive oil
2 Garlic cloves, crushed
4 Onions, sliced
1/4 t Oregano
1/4 t Basil
1/4 t Thyme
1/2 c Dry white wine
Freshly-ground black pepper
to taste
Salt, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat a large frying pan and add the oil and garlic along with onions.
Saute until they just begin to brown. Add the herbs and the wine and
simmer until the onions are very tender, about 10 minutes. Check for
salt and pepper. You should need a little. This can almost be served
as an onion relish. It is light enough to be supportive with red or
white meat dishes, and it is great with fish. Recipe Source: THE
