Orange Pork Chops

INGREDIENTS

4 Thick pork chops; (1 inch)
1 ds Salt and pepper
1/8 ts Paprika
2 tb Vegetable oil
1 c Water
1/2 c Sugar
1 tb Cornstarch
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1 tb Grated orange peel
1 c Orange juice
1 ts Whole Cloves
Hot Cooked Rice

INSTRUCTIONS

Sprinkle chops with salt, pepper and paprika. Brown chops on both sides;
add water to skillet. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 40-45 minutes, turning
once. Combine sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon in medium pan; stir in orange
rind, orange juice, and cloves. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly,
until thick and bubbly. Serve chops over rice with sauce.
