Overnight Five-Grain Cereal

INGREDIENTS

1 tb Uncooked wheat berries
1 tb Uncooked rye berries
1 tb Uncooked pearl barley
1 tb Uncooked millet
1 tb Uncooked old-fashioned rolled oats
1 1/2 c Apple juice or water
2 tb Oat bran; optional
2 tb Raisins

INSTRUCTIONS

Grind wheat berries, rye berries, barley, millet and oats in grain mill or
blender on high speed 30 seconds.
Place mixture in heavy-bottomed pan along with apple juice, oat bran and
raisins. Bring to boil over medium-high heat and simmer 10 minutes. Remove
from heat. Cover pan and let stand overnight. Next norning, reheat over
medium heat and serve. Makes 2 servings.
