INGREDIENTS

3 c Milk
1 sl Onion
3 Branches of celery
2 Sprigs parsley
1/4 Bay leaf
2/3 c Coffee cream; (not creamora type)
1/4 c Cracker crumbs
1 pt Oysters
3 tb Butter
Salt and pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat milk, onion, celery, parsley and bay leaf over boiling water for 20
minutes. Remove vegetables and bay leaf and add cream and cracker crumbs.
Meanwhile, heat oysters in their own liquor until edges curl. combine with
milk and cream mixture; add butter, salt and pepper and serve at once. 5
servings
