Ozark Apple Pie

INGREDIENTS

1 md Egg
3/4 c Flour
1/2 c Sugar
1 1/4 ts Baking Powder
1/8 ts Salt
1/2 c Chopped Nuts
1/2 c Apples; Peeled, chopped
1/2 ts Vanilla
Whipping Cream
3 tb Applesauce
1/4 ts Cinnamon
Sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

Beat egg and sugar together. Combine and sift the flour, baking powder and
salt; add to first mixture. Add nuts, apples and vanilla. Pour into a
buttered 9-inch pie pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Whip cream;
add a little sugar, continue whipping and when thickened, add applesauce
and cinnamon. Serve over pie.
