INGREDIENTS

2 Loaves sliced; white bread or melba rounds
Butter
2 pk (8-oz.) cream cheese; room temperature
1 Stick melted butter
1/4 c Plus 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
6 Green onions; chopped
Freshly grated Parmesan

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat broiler. Use 1" cookie cutter and cut 3 circles from each slice of
bread. Butter one side. Arrange in layer on baking sheet. Broil until
lightly toasted. Turn and broil unbuttered side. Transfer to rack to cool.
Combine cream cheese, butter, mayonnaise and green onion. Spread 1 teaspoon
mixture over buttered side. Dip in Parmesan cheese (May prepare to this
point and freeze). Preheat broiler. Arrange rounds on baking sheet. Broil
until bubbly and golden, about 5 minutes. Serve hot.
