Party Nibbles: Brie With Cranberry Chutney

INGREDIENTS

1 Brie round – 8-inch
1 c Cranberries
1/4 c Packed brown sugar
2 T Green onion, chopped
2 t Lime juice
1 t Pickled jalapeno, chopped
Salt
Pepper
Toasted pecan halves, optl

INSTRUCTIONS

Cranberry Chutney:  In saucepan, bring cranberries, sugar and 1 tb
water to boil; reduce  heat and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Add
onion, lime juice,  jalapeno, and salt and pepper to taste. Let cool
slightly (Can be  covered and refrigerated for up to 3 days.)  Place
Brie on ovenproof serving dish. Spoon chutney over top. Bake in  350F
180C oven for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is just starting to  melt.
Garnish with pecan halves (if using). Fresh berries may also be used
