Peach And Sausage Balls

INGREDIENTS

1 lb Pork sausage, ground
2 T Chopped onions
2 c Soft bread crumbs
1/4 t Black pepper
1/8 t Salt
1 Egg, beaten
4 Peaches, canned
24 Whole cloves

INSTRUCTIONS

Drain peaches and reserve syrup. Combine sausage, onion, bread crumbs,
salt, pepper and egg. Mix well and form into 8 balls. Place peach
halves, cut side up, in baking dish. Stick 3 cloves in each peach,
around the edge. Place the sausage balls in peach cavity. Bake in
preheated 350-degree oven for 45 minutes. Drain off fat. Heat the
syrup reserved from the peaches and pour over the sausage and peach
