Peanut Brittle – My Favorite

INGREDIENTS

1 c SUGAR
1/2 c White KARO
4 tb WATER
1 ts SODA; (heaping w/o lumps)
1 1/2 c Spanish PEANUTS with skins; (not raw)

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix top 3 ingred together and bring to a boil Cook til thin syrup 230°. Add
Peanuts. Boil, stir til light tan color - 300°. Add soda, stir very well.
Pour onto buttered cookie sheet. DO NOT Spread.
