We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Hopelessness has surprised me with patience.

CATEGORY CUISINE TAG YIELD
Grains, Eggs Chocolate, Squares 16 Servings

INGREDIENTS

1/2 c Peanut butter
1/3 c Butter
1 c Sugar
1/4 c Brown sugar; packed
2 Eggs
1 c Flour
1 ts Baking powder
1/4 ts Salt
6 oz Semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 ts Vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Beat first two ingredients until blended.
2. Gradually add sugars and beat until fluffy.
3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
4. Add dry ingredients and vanilla and spread in a buttered 9 inch square
pan.
5. Bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool in pan on cake rack.
6. Cut in 2 1/4 inch squares.
NOTE: I marble-ize these by doing the following: Don't add the chocolate
chips to the batter. Instead, sprinkle them on top of the batter after you
pour it into the pan. Put the pan in the oven for 5 minutes, then take it
out again. Use a knife to spread the softened chocolate over the top
evenly. Then use the knife to cut into the batter and swirl the chocolate a
little.
