INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 c Flour
3/4 ts Baking soda
1/8 ts Salt
1/2 c Butter
1/2 c Creamy peanut butter
1/2 c Sugar
1/2 c Packed brown sugar
1 Egg
Colored sugar(optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

in a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. in large bowl, beat
butter and peanut butter until well blended. beat in sugar and brown sugar
until blended.beat in egg. gradually beat in flour mixture until well
mixed.divide dough into thirds. refrigerate until firm, about 3 hours. roll
out dough, one at a time, 1/4 inch thick on lightly floured surface. cut
out with cookie cutters. place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
if desired, sprinkle cookies with colored sugars. bake in preheated 350
degrees oven 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. remove to wire racks
to cool.
