Peanutty Fruit Grill

INGREDIENTS

12 sl White bread
Butter; softened
1/2 c Smooth peanut butter
1/2 c Crushed pineapple; well drained
1 c Cranberry orange relish

INSTRUCTIONS

These "Savory Sandwiches" are from the September, 1974 issue.
Butter both sides of bread. Combine peanut butter and crushed pineapple;
spread evenly on 6 slices of bread. Top peanut butter mixture with
cranberry orange relish. Close sandwiches with remaining bread slices.
Grill on both sides until golden brown. Cut in half and serve hot. Garnish
with celery sticks and carrot curls. Makes 6 sandwiches. Posted to EAT-L
