Pears, Beans and Bacon Soup

INGREDIENTS

18 oz Pears,firm ones
18 oz Green Beans
18 oz Bacon
1 1/2 qt Water
1 tb Savory,fresh
1 bn Parsley
3 lb Potatoes

INSTRUCTIONS

1.Wash beans, cut of ends,peel the string. 2.Cook the
bacon in the water for about 20 minutes;remove
bacon;keep warm. 3.Add the beans and the chopped
parsley to baconbroth and cook until the beans are
done. 4.After 15 minutes add the pears;washed and left
whole and cook another 15 minutes. 5.Slice the bacon
and serve with the bean-pear-mix. 6.Serve with the
potatoes,peeled and halfed and cooked in salted water.
