INGREDIENTS

3/4 c Brown sugar
2 1/2 c Water
1/4 c Butter
1/4 c Melted butter
1/2 c Brown sugar
1/2 c Milk
1 t Vanilla
1 c All-purpose flour
Pinch of salt
2 t Baking powder
3/4 c Raisins
1 c Whipping cream, whipped

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350øF.  In a saucepan, combine sauce ingredients.
Heat until sugar is dissolved and butter melted.  Pour into a large
soufflé or casserole dish.  In a bowl, combine butter, brown sugar,
milk and vanilla. Add flour, salt and baking powder.  Beat well. Stir
in raisins. Spoon batter onto sauce.  Bake for 40 minutes. Serve warm
in bowls so you don't miss any of the sauce.  Serve with whipped
