Let us thank God heartily as often as we pray that we have His Spirit in us to teach us to pray. Thanksgiving will draw our hearts out to God and keep us engaged with Him; it will take our attention from ourselves and give the Spirit room in our hearts.

Red and Green Coleslaw

INGREDIENTS

1 c Dried cranberries
2 c Red cabbage; finely sliced
2 c Green cabbage; finely sliced
1/4 c Thinly sliced red onion
1/3 c Cider vinegar
1/3 c Oil
1/3 c Sugar
1 ts Celery seeds

INSTRUCTIONS

DRESSING
Combine cranberries, red and green cabbage and red onion in large bowl.
Toss with Dressing.  Cover and chill about 3 hours before serving. Stir and
drain off all liquid before serving. Makes 6 servings.
Each serving contains about: 173 calories; 8 mg sodium; 0 cholesterol;
13 grams fat; 17 grams carbohydrates; 1 gram protein; 0.69 gram fiber.
  DRESSING:
Combine vinegar, oil, sugar and celery seeds and mix well to combine.
Makes about 1 cup.
