Red Chard with Marinated Onions

INGREDIENTS

5 ts Fresh lemon juice
2 ts Rice wine vinegar
1 ts Sugar
ds Salt
1 c Finely diced white onion
2 bn Red chard

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine lemon juice, vinegar, sugar, and salt. Toss with onion. Marinate 15
minutes, stirring occasionally. Wash chard leaves. Tear each leaf into 4
pieces; cut stems into 1-inch pieces. Place chard in a steamer basket over
1 inch of water over high heat. Cover and steam about 8 minutes. Place
chard in a serving bowl, toss with onions and marinade. Makes 4 servings.
