INGREDIENTS

1 1/3 c All-purpose flour
1 1/2 ts DAVIS Baking Powder
1/2 c EGG BEATERS Real Egg Product
3 tb Skim milk
1/4 ts Almond extract
1/4 c FLEISCHMANN'S Margarine; softened
1/2 c Sugar
1 cn (21-ounce) light cherry pie filling and topping
Streusel Topping; recipe follows
Confectioner's sugar glaze; optional

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine flour and baking powder set aside. Combine egg product, milk and
almond extract; set aside. In small bowl, with electric mixer at medium
speeed, beat margarine and sugar until creamy. Alternately add flour
mixture and egg mixture, blending well after each addition. Spread batter
in greased 9-inch springform pan. Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes. Spoon
cherry pie filling over batter; sprinkle Streusel Topping over filling
around outside edge of pan. Bake 10 to 15 minutes more or until toothpick
inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack for 25 minutes
Remove outside ring of pan; cool completely on wire rack. Drizzle with
confectioner's sugar glaze, if desired. Streusel Topping: Mix 1/4 cup
all-purpose flour, 3 tablespoons confectioner's sugar, 2 tablespoons
toasted, chopped, sliced almonds, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon and 1 tablespoon
FLEISCHMANN'S Margarine until crumbly. SOURCE: Nabisco
