INGREDIENTS

1 Egg; beaten
1 c Soft rye bread crumbs
1/2 c Chopped onions
1/4 ts Sweet pickle relish
1/4 c Russian OR Thousand Island; salad dressing
1 tb Worcestershire sauce
1 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
1 1/2 lb Ground beef; lean, or pork
1 cn (8 oz) sauerkraut; drained/snipped
1 c Shredded Swiss cheese; divided

INSTRUCTIONS

In a bowl, combine egg, bread crumbs, onion, relish, dressing,
Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Add ground meat. Mix well. On wax
paper, pat into 12x8" rectangle. Top with sauerkraut and 3/4 cup of cheese.
Using wax paper, lift roll up starting on short side, jelly roll style.
Press ends together to seal. Place seam-side down on 13x9x3" baking pan.
BAke at 350° for 50 minutes. Sprinkle with rest of cheese. Bake for 2-3
