Rice With Chicken And Cheese

INGREDIENTS

1 Onion, chopped
1/2 t Salt
1/2 c Uncooked rice
1/2 c Cut-up cheese
1 T Oil or shortening
2 1/2 c Water or broth
1 1/2 c Cut-up cooked chicken

INSTRUCTIONS

Lightly brown onion in oil; add salt & water or broth. Heat to  boiling
and add rice.  Cover and cook over low heat 50 minutes. Add  chicken to
rice. Heat. Sprinkle cheese on each serving.  FROM "HAVE A RICE DAY!",
