I’ve been in a church setting where leadership was faced with making decisions on situations that weren’t specifically stated in the Bible, and the group felt constrained to come up with an answer in a limited amount of time. The attitude was “we can’t wait on God for an answer”. So they make their own decisions. At some point, we need to stop and ask ourselves if we are following Jesus/God or are we on our own trail.
