Eggs Cake 12 Servings

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 c Butter or margarine
3 c Sugar
5 Eggs
3 c Flour
2 T Lemon extract
3/4 c 7-Up

INSTRUCTIONS

Cream sugar and shortening together; beat until light and fluffy. Add
eggs one at a time; beat well. Add flour; beat in extract and 7 Up.
Pour into well greased and floured bundt or tube pan. Bake at 325
degrees for 1 to 1-1/4    hours.  From <A Taste of Louisiana>.
