We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

In the midst of life's storms, remember that you are not alone. God is always with you, holding you in His loving arms and guiding you through every trial. Trust in His faithfulness and lean on His strength.

Our hopelessness and our helplessness are no barrier to (God’s) work. Indeed our utter incapacity is often the prop He delights to use for His next act… We are facing one of the principles of Yahweh’s modus operandi. When His people are without strength, without resources, without hope, without human gimmicks – then He loves to stretch forth His hand from heaven. Once we see where God often begins we will understand how we may be encouraged.

INGREDIENTS

1 c Water
1/4 ts Thyme — crumbled
1/4 c Uncooked quick grits
8 oz Shredded cheddar
2 Eggs — beaten
ds Garlic salt
1/4 ts Salt
1 lb Sausage — cooked
1/2 c Milk

INSTRUCTIONS

This is a recipe for people who think they don't like grits! It makes a
great "Make Ahead" breakfast-brunch meal. Anyone I have ever served it to
has asked for second helpings. (Even non-lovers of grits) Cook and crumble
sausage; drain well. Prepare grits according to pkg. Remove pan from heat.
Add cheese to pan and stir until melted. Combine eggs, milk, thyme and
garlic salt in small bowl. Mix well. Add a small amount of the hot
grits/cheese mixture into the egg mixture and blend. Pour the remainder of
the grits mixture into it. Add cooked sausage and stir well. Spray Pam
inside a 12x8x2 inch baking dish. Pour mixture into baking dish. Cover.
Refrigerate overnight. Remove from refrigerator and let stand 15 minutes at
room temperature. Then bake at 350 degrees uncovered for 50 minutes or
until firm enough to eat. Source: Figure 8 Island Cookbook
