We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

The root cause of abortion is the failure to be satisfied in God as our supreme love. And, for all the great legal work that needs to be done to protect human life, the greatest work that needs to be done is to spread a passion – a satisfaction for the supremacy of God in all things. That's our calling.

Nothing but constant intercourse with the Lord will carry on the soul. I got last Saturday set apart as a day of prayer; and I trace much of my help to that day. 22 June 1878: Ask much, for this is the way to grow rich. 12 May 1888: Found time to give the whole of this day entirely to prayer and meditation. There will be fruit of it to me and my people.

Soup 8 Servings

INGREDIENTS

2 1/2 c Tomato juice
1 c Coarsely chopped; peeled, firm ripe tomato
3/4 c Coarsely chopped red and/or green bell pepper
3/4 c Finely chopped onion
1/2 c Coarsely chopped; peeled cucumber
2 tb Freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 ts Garlic powder
1/4 ts Worcestershire sauce
1/4 ts Pepper
Snipped fresh chives or green onion tops for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

In a large bowl mix all ingredients except garnish until blended. Cover and
chill at least 4 hours or overnight. Serve in chilled bowls; sprinkle with
chives. Makes 4 cups, 8 servings, 34 calories per serving.
