INGREDIENTS

2 Eggs
2 ts Cinnamon
2 c Flour
1 ts Soda
1/2 ts Salt
1 c Shorting
1 ts Vanilla
1/2 c Nuts
2 c Sugar
4 c Apples; thinly sliced
1 pk (8-oz) cream cheese
1 ts Venilla
3 tb Margarine
1 1/2 c Powder sugar

NOTE: Do not use a mixer to mix this cake.
Cake: Mix sugar, eggs and shorting until smooth.  Then stir in all the
remaining ingretients. Batter will be very thick.  Bake in a 9 X 13 greased
and floured pan at 350 for 35 to 45 min.
Topping Dir: Beat all to the consistency of whip cream.  Or you may use
whip cream.
This is a family recipe from my neighbors grandmother, Mrs Brough.  It is
very easy to put together and tastes devine.
