We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

We are today accepted in the Beloved, today absolved from sin, today acquitted at the bar of God… We are now pardoned; even now are our sins put away; even now we stand in the sight of God accepted, as though we had never been guilty. “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.” There is not a sin in the Book of God, even now, against one of His people. Who dares to lay anything to their charge? There is neither speck, nor spot, nor wrinkle, nor any such thing remaining upon any one believer in the matter of justification in the sight of the Judge of all the earth.
C.H. Spurgeon

Horizontally, death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). The temptation is to think, “But I’m not doing anything. It’s only words.” But words alone can bring a government down or establish peace, destroy a marriage or renew hope, crush a child’s sense of worth or lift him to confidence and joy, unify a church or splinter it into angry factions, send a soul to hell or to heaven. When we observe carefully the impact of our words, we see why God cares so intensely about them.

INSTRUCTIONS

Ginger oil can be made quickly by putting twelve slices of ginger and a
half cup of peanut oil in a small frying pan and cooking over medium heat
until the ginger is browned and the oil is almost smoking. Remove the pan
from the heat and take out the ginger; what remains is a tasty oil that you
can use to dress pasta or make into a sauce for fish. For a spicier oil,
add a few whole, dried hot peppers with the ginger. For the simplest sauce
made from ginger oil, just whisk in two tablespoons of soy sauce (I like
Kikkoman's best). This quantity is enough to sauce about two pounds of fish
fillets--salmon, tuna,or whitefish. For a light main dish, poach the
fish--and add a few thin slices of ginger to the poaching liquid. (By

A Message from our Provider:

“Many favors which God gives us ravel out for want of hemming through our unthankfulness; for though prayer purchases blessings, giving praise keeps the quiet possession of them. #Thomas Fuller”
