We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Moral guidelines are oppressive and legalistic only to those who still love their sin. For example, the only reason integrity should be a burden to you is if you enjoy being dishonest. Righteous deeds will be bothersome only because you prefer unrighteous ones. Speaking the truth will hurt only because it feels good to lie. Obedience to the righteous commands of God is easy for those whose hearts have been gripped by grace and whose lives are empowered by grace (Dt. 30:11; Mt. 11:29-30; 1 Jn. 5:3).
Sam Storms

If, then, I find taught in one part of the Bible that everything is foreordained, that is true; and if I find, in another Scripture, that man is responsible for all his actions, that is true; and it is only my folly that leads me to imagine that these two truths can ever contradict each other. I do not believe that they can ever be welded into one upon any earthly anvil, but they certainly shall be one in eternity. They are two lines that are so nearly parallel, that the human mind which pursues them farthest will never discover that they converge, but they do converge and they will meet somewhere in eternity, close to the throne of God, whence all truth doth spring.

INGREDIENTS

x Olive oil
x Garlic
x Green beans (canned)
x Tofu
x Mushrooms

INSTRUCTIONS

Last week when I cooked some Green Beans I put a bit of Olive Oil in a
stick-free skillet on medium heat, then minced a clove of Garlic into the
oil and added some Black Pepper. I then cubed some firm Tofu and sliced
some fresh mushrooms and put them in the pan to cook for a while and absorb
the flavours. Once the mushrooms reduced in size and got shiny from the
cooking I poured a drained can of Green Beans into the sauce pan and cooked
for about 10 minutes. All you really need to do is let the beens cook up
until they are all hot and steaming, but I usually let them cook a little
longer which allows me to finish preparing the other things I'm making for
the meal.
I hope that helps. It tastes great!
