INSTRUCTIONS
Dissolve sugar, add food coloring and cook until temperature reaches 300
degrees on candy thermometer, hard crack on thermometer. Do not stir while
candy is cooking. Remove from heat and add 1 tsp oil of flavoring. Pour
into well-greased cookie sheet. When cool, cut with scissors and roll in
confectioner's sugar
NOTES : Gampie used to make 100 pounds of this candy for Christmas, using
100 pounds of sugar and 8 bottles of Karo. She suggests that you buy the
oil of flavoring in BIG bottles. The flavoring keeps well!
