We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

In Christ is the yes, the grand consummating affirmative, to all God's promises. He is the horn of salvation raised up for us by God, 'as He spake by the mouth of His holy prophets which have been since the world began' (Luke 24:44). The covenant promises addressed to Abraham and his seed are realized in His single person (Gal. 3:16). To the believer, therefore, Christ is all, not merely as fulfilling a word of the past, but as Himself being the very living Word of God, faithful and eternal. In Him all fullness dwells (Col. 1:19): wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, redemption are to be found in Him alone (1 Cor. 1:30). There is nothing which is not in Him, who is the First and the Last, the Beginning and End (Rev. 22:13).
Philip Hughes

You and I can never imagine all the depths of hell. Shut out from us by a black veil of darkness, we cannot tell the horrors of that dismal dungeon of lost souls. Happily, the wailings of the damned have never startled us, for a thousand tempests were but a maidens whisper, compared with one wail of a damned spirit. It is not possible for us to see the tortures of those souls who dwell eternally within an anguish that knows no alleviation. These eyes would become sightless balls of darkness if they were permitted for an instant to look into that ghastly shrine of torment. Hell is horrible, for we may say of it, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither hath it entered into the heart of man to conceive the horrors which God hath prepared for them that hate Him.
C.H. Spurgeon

INGREDIENTS

1/2 c Rolled oats (can be toasted
First by putting thin layer
In pan
And baking at 350 degrees
For 15-20 minutes, or until
Lightly toasted)
1 pk RapidRise yeast
1 tb Sugar
3 tb Oat bran
2 tb Nonfat dry milk powder
1/2 c Cornmeal
3/4 c Whole wheat flour
1/4 ts Baking soda
3 tb Wheat germ

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix above ingredients in a large bowl. Heat ingredients below until very
warm (125-130 degrees) and stir into the dry mixture.
3/4 cup skim milk 2 egg whites 1/4 cup dark molasses
Let the batter sit for about 20 minutes, or overnight in the refrigerator.
You may want to add more milk or water to get them to the consistency you
like, depending on whether you're going to turn them into waffles or
pancakes. I have varied the dry ingredients radically, depending on what I
have around the house. When I don't have molasses, I increase the amount of
honey and other liquids. No matter what I do to this recipe, it always
seems to turn out great.
I estimate the fat grams per 7" x 7" waffle to be <3 grams, which can vary
depending on the grains you use.
