We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Most of us have never really understood that Christianity is not a self-help religion meant to enable moral people to become more moral. We don’t need a self-help book; we need a Savior. We don’t need to get our collective act together; we need death and resurrection and the life-transforming truths of the gospel. And we don’t need them just once, at the beginning of our Christian life; we need them every moment of every day.
Elyse Fitzpatrick

If a man doubts his manliness, he needs only to believe what is already true. God created him to be a man and to live as a man by being strong and keeping His Word. Even a man that the world would consider weak, feeble, and the least 'manly' can be stronger than many in the world if he believes God and keeps His commandments. He does not need to take a trip to the wilderness and wait for a voice from heaven to declare to his soul that he is a man. He does not have to wait for his father or some father figure to somehow bestow 'manness' upon him. He doesn't have to prove to himself or to others that he has what it takes to do whatever the world or he himself deems is important and manly. Masculinity is given by God to men, and men must live it out Biblically rather than perverting it and redefining it in worldly, carnal, and selfish terms.

INGREDIENTS

1 cn (4.25-oz) Underwood Deviled Ham; or White Meat Chicken Spread
2 Eggs
2 oz (1/2 cup) sharp Cheddar cheese; shredded
1 sm Shallot; minced
1 ds Salt; if desired
1/8 ts Cracked black pepper or pepper
1 pk (9 oz) Green Giant Harvest Fresh Frozen Spinach; thawed & squeezed to drain
1 cn (10 oz) Pillsbury Refrigerated All Ready Pizza Crust
1 ts Water

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat oven to 375 F. In medium bowl, combine deviled ham and 1 of the eggs;
mix well. Add cheese, shallot, salt and pepper; blend well. Add spinach;
mix well.
Unroll dough; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Starting at center, press

remaining egg and water; mix well. Brush egg mixture lightly over dough;
reserve remaining for top of braid.
Spread filling lengthwise in 4-inch-wide strip down center of dough to
within 1/4 inch of each end. With sharp knife, make cuts 1 inch apart on
long sides of rectangle, just to edge of filling. Fold strips of dough
alternately over filling to create braid (see diagram). Fold ends of braid
under to seal. Brush top with reserved egg mixture.
