We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

This is ever the nature of true confession of sin, true brokenness. It is the confession that my sin is not just a mistake, a slip, a something which is really foreign to my heart (“Not really like me to have such thoughts or do such things!”), but that it is something which reveals the real ‘I’; that shows me to be the proud, rotten, unclean thing God says I am; that it really is like me to have such thoughts and do such things. It was in these terms that David confessed his sin, when he prayed, “Against Thee, Thee only, have I sinned and done this evil in Thy sight, that Thou mightest be justified when Thou speakest and be clear when Thou judgest” (Psalm 51:4).

He talks (Mk. 13:11; Ac. 1:16; 8:29; 10:19; 11:12; 13:2; 21:11; 1 Tim. 4:1; Heb. 3:7; Rev. 2:7). b. He testifies (Jn. 15:26; 16:23). c. He can be sinned against (Mt. 12:31). d. He can be lied to (Ac. 5:3). e. He can be tested/tempted (Ac. 5:9). f. He can be insulted (Heb. 10:29). g. He enters into relationship with other persons (2 Cor. 13:14). h. He encourages (Ac. 9:31). i. He strengthens (Eph. 3:16). j. He teaches (Lk. 12:12; Jn. 14:26; 1 Cor. 2:13).

    INGREDIENTS

    Gary Weyback DNN79C
    8 oz Cream cheese
    7 1/2 oz Crabmeat, rinsed, drained
    2 tb Onion, finely chopped
    2 tb Cream
    1/2 ts Horseradish, creamstyle
    1/4 ts Salt
    1 ds Pepper
    1/3 c Almonds, toasted, sliced

    INSTRUCTIONS

    Combine all ingredients except nuts, mixing well until blended. Smooth
mixture into 9-inch tart or quiche dish, sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 375
degrees for 15 minutes. Serve with crackers or crudites. Posted by Gary
