But our lack of understanding does not prevent us from believing God.

James Barber’s Pepper Pitas and Hummus

INGREDIENTS

14 oz Chickpeas; canned, drained, rinsed
3 Cloves garlic; minced
4 tb Peanut butter
Juice of 1 lemon
6 tb Yogurt -Pepper Pitas—
8 Pita bread
4 tb Olive oil
1 pn Salt
2 tb Pepper
2 tb Parsley

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.
If too thick add a little water, lemon juice or yogurt. Makes 2 cups
Pepper Pitas: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut pitas into quarters. Brush
with the oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper and parsley. Bake until crisp,
about 5 mins. Makes 32 pitas
