We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Every dad begins fatherhood clothed in garments of praise [Proverbs 17:6]. It usually happens naturally and effortlessly. He possesses an authority that is both inexplicable and awesome. For this reason, few things are more important to a boy – or a man – than a touch, or a smile, or a word of encouragement from Dad.
Robert Lewis

Before earthly things break in upon us, and we receive impressions from abroad, it is good to season the heart with thoughts of God, and to consecrate the early and virgin operations of the mind before they are prostituted to baser objects. When the world gets the start of religion in the morning, it can hardly overtake it all the day; and so the heart is habituated to vanity all the day long. But when we begin with God, we take Him along with us to all the business and comforts of the day; which, being seasoned with His love and fear, are the more sweet and savory to us.

1. Combine jello and sugar in a bowl. Pour in boiling water, and stir until
well dissolved. Cool slightly.
2. Add the fruit juice or soda that compliments or matches the flavor of
the jello.
3. Pour into desired containers and freeze overnight or for several hours.
Personal notes: These really, really do taste just like the purchased ones
that are so expensive. The gelatin keeps the texture soft and creamy.
Rebekah's favorite combination is strawberry jello and strawberry flavored
soft drink. I use popsicle molds for this. Most moms already have these.
But a "bathroom" size paper cup works just as well. Stick in a plastic
spoon for a handle.
