We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

In the darkest night of the soul, Christians have something to hold onto that Job never knew – we know Christ crucified. Christians have learned that when there seems to be no other evidence of God’s love, they cannot escape the cross. “He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all – how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?” (Rom. 8:32)… When we suffer there will sometimes be mystery. Will there also be faith? Yes. If our attention is focused more on the cross and on the God of the cross than on the suffering itself.
D.A. Carson

We all want God's voice to thunder through the air with the answer to our problem. But God's is the still, small voice…the gentle whisper. Perhaps there's a reason. Nothing draws human focus quite like a whisper. God's whisper means I must stop my ranting and move close to Him, until my head is bent together with His. And then, as I listen, I will find my answer. Better still, I find myself closer to God.

: This frozen drink is very flexible and can be served plain or swirled
with blueberry- or raspberry-infused vodka. Macaroni Grill makes Bellinis
in an old-fashioned frozen drink machine. But you can use a blender and
crushed ice. As with drinking all alcoholic beverages, enjoy them in
moderation and always have a designated driver if you plan to be on the
road later.
