We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Think about people who find themselves in religious ruts. They discover a number of things about themselves. They will find that they are getting older but not getting any holier. Time is their enemy, not their friend. The time they trusted and looked to is betraying them, for they often said to themselves, “The passing of time will help me. I know some good old saints, so as I get older I'll get holier and better. Time will help me, purify me and revive me.” They said that the year before last, but they were not helped any last year. Time betrayed them. They were not any better last year than they had been the year before.

The image of God in man…means that God made human beings, both male and female, to be created and finite representations (images of God) of God’s own nature, that in relationship with Him and each other, they might be His representatives (imaging God) in carrying out the responsibilities He has given to them. In this sense, we are images of God in order to image God and His purposes in the ordering of our lives and carrying out of our God-given responsibilities.

Mashed Potato Candy is simple to make. This recipe is a family christmas
tradition. It is VERY sweet.
Mix mashed potato and 2 cups powdered sugar in good sized mixing bowl.
Potatoes will become watery at first. Continue adding powdered sugar until
mixture is thick enough to roll. It may not take all the sugar, or it may
take more, humidity will cause amounts to vary.
Sprinkle powdered sugar on pastry sheet. Take a portion of the potato
mixture and roll it out using a powdered sugar coated rolling pin. When
mixture is about 1/4 inch thick spread a layer of peanut butter over the
potato mixture. Starting on the longest side, roll the dough up into a
tight roll. Slice the roll into pieces about 1/2 inch thick. Candy can be
stored in a covered container.
